Hendersonville Samaritan Association 2015 Annual Report

  • 14,511 Emergency Relief and support services given to 3,658 families in need
  • 301 families given assistance with utility bills including
  • 78 families given assistance with housing costs
  • 409 families given food from community food bank
  • 23 transient families given meals or housing or transportation costs
  • 21 families given clothing, furniture or other items form the thrift
  • 2,476 individuals served through monthly soup kitchen.
  • 151 students at risk of hunger during the weekend given   
  • 8 households assisted through TDHA program
  • 242 families received counseling/referral services for family crisis
  • 58 families served with holiday food baskets and Christmas charity
